Frequently Asked Questions About Closet, Garage, and Other Storage Systems

You might think our primary job is to spruce up your sock drawer, pamper your pantry, or give your laundry room a makeover.

Truth is, our number one job is to make you feel as though you're the most important person on the planet. We exist solely to fulfill your needs. Period.

Whether you live in a condo or an old farmhouse, a mansion or modest ranch house, you have a storage problem you want solved. And below, you'll find answers to the questions we hear most often from people like you.

Don't see your question here? Contact us anytime with your questions, or ask them during your complimentary personal consultation.

Q: Does your closet system stand on the floor or hang on the wall?

A: Our favorite storage systems hang from the wall by a steel rail, secured to your home's framing. They can easily hold up to 1200 lbs. (You'd be surprised how heavy the stuff in your closet is.)

And because they attach to the wall, you get additional floor storage so it's easy to vacuum your closet. Floor-mounted closet systems are also available, if you prefer.

Q: How much does an average closet cost?

A: We've installed systems for less than $500 and more than $24,000. Our advice? Having a budget works wonders for the process. Closet costs vary with size and accessory choices. We'll help you choose the best design options for your budget, and always provide timely quotes.

Q: How long does it take you to install closets and other organization systems?

A: Most installations can be completed in one day. Really! When you know what you want, the rest is easy.

Q: How soon can they be installed?

A: Our factory consistently offers the fastest lead-time in the industry. Once you've approved the design, we'll have your system installed within 1-2 weeks.

Q: How far will you go to complete an installation?

A: Though our home base is in the Lakes Region of central New Hampshire, we'll install closets just about anywhere in this great "Live Free or Die" state. And to answer your question another way, we stand 100% behind our designs and installations. We won't rest until you're completely overjoyed with the results.

Q: Do you remove the old closet material when you come to install?

A: Absolutely. We'll spackle the holes, touch up paint, and voila! Closet perfection, at no additional cost to you. However, if you'd like a complete repainting or other remodeling, we'll provide you with a reasonable quote during the consultation process.

Q: I'd like to order the system through you, but install it myself. Is that okay?

A: Yes. Let us know that when you schedule your personal design consultation, so we can factor your do-it-yourself desires into the discussion and system recommendations.

Q: I'm not sure I get it. Why do I need a closet organization system, anyway?

A: This is the most important question of all, and it's the reason why we're in business in the first place. The answer varies from person to person, but generally speaking, it's for one of these reasons:

    1. You’re already well-organized, but you have a poorly designed closet or storage space that doesn’t suit your needs.
    2. You’re not as organized as you could or want to be, and an organization system will work wonders for you.
    3. You have the infamous wire shelving in your closets, which may sabotage your closet space by not giving you enough shelving or hanging rods to fit your “stuff.”
    4. You have an unusually-shaped closet (common in older homes ), and want to make the most of it.
    5. You’re a new home builder, thinking about value and function in your new space.
