Sneak a Peek at the Methods Behind Our Magic…

Floor mounted versus wall mounted, rectangles versus odd angles ... those are mere design details. Even more important to your satisfaction and amazement is how the closet design system works when it’s installed.

So, imagine a pantry closet, with fixed shelves 20” deep and more than a foot apart. Then imagine the shelves jam packed with spices, cereal boxes, pots, blenders, canned goods, casserole dishes … literally everything but the kitchen sink!

It’s a true story. And our designer didn’t just empty the shelves and put in a new system. Together with our client, they discussed everything from meal preparation preferences to organizational priorities first.

This 32” wide pantry closet was the result, where adjustability reigns supreme. True, our client was initially skeptical about replacing one column of 20” deep shelves with two columns of 14” deep shelves. But the two sections allowed for a cutout on one side for the waste bin, and the opportunity for each side to be adjusted independently:

  • Tall shelves for cereal boxes
  • Short shelves for soup cans
  • Vertical dividers for efficient and visible space for trays and platters
  • More height utilized for infrequently-used items like large pots and pans

At our follow-up visit, our amazed client opened the pantry door to proudly show us that the system worked – and in fact, our client had more usable space than before!

There’s no real mystery to how our closet systems work when they’re installed. But sometimes, seeing is believing. And now’s your chance to see it for yourself – schedule your complimentary consultation, or contact us with your questions.
